Thanksgiving Day!

Today is Thanksgiving Day! I had a very long day today. My momma and dad took me to see my Papa and Granny Morrow. We spent alot of time visiting with them and everybody who was there. We didn't have a chance to go see my MawMaw and Papa Honea 'cause I was sleepy and needed a nap. Sorry you guys- I love you.

Then, after I woke up, Momma and me went to see MawMaw T and Papa.When we got there,  I was surprised to see my cousin, Lorelei. Of course, Aunt Kathy and Uncle Richie were there, too. I was still cranky from being asleep, but after a while I became more sociable.

Lorelei is teething and she likes to chew on this frozen ring. She's also crawling around really well.

After a little while, they had to leave to go back home. I cried when they were leaving. I don't get to play with Lorelei very much. Maybe when we get bigger, it will be better.

MawMaw and Papa were happy to see Lorelei and her mom and dad. They miss them very much when they're not around. I try to keep them busy so they won't miss them too much .

Hey, a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do.

I hope your families all had a very happy Thanksgiving. Now it's on to Christmas- yea!! la la Lily

Almost Thanksgiving Day

It's almost Thanksgiving Day and I can't wait. I'll get to see alot of my peeps and eat and eat til my tummy aches. Well, that last part don't sound so good, but I will eat lots of good stuff. I hope you all have a very happy Thanksgiving Day. I love you, la la Lily : )

Good Movies

Okay, so MawMaw T is recommending this new movie she saw Saturday night, The Blind Side. I'm sure it's good and all , but I wanted to recommend my favorite movie . . .

It's the Veggie Tales Lord of the Bean. I absolutely love it.

I watch it at my house and at MawMaw's, too.

I could watch it all day if they would let me.

If you haven't seen it, you need to. It's great.

Green with Envy

I'm just green with envy.  MawMaw T, Momma, Aunt JJ, Aunt KK, and hundreds of Twilight fans are going to see the premiere of New Moon tonight!! It should be very exciting. I can't wait for them to tell me all about it. : ) la la Lily

Just blogging

Hey, my Papa thinks all of this internet stuff is bad and some bad things can happen. So if MawMaw T continues to blog for me, she will probably have to set everything to a privacy setting. If it causes a problem for any of you, please let her know, so she can try to figure out what to do.

The Lions Den

MawMaw T hired a couple of second-hand lions to babysit me so she can get stuff done. I think I will behave today and do what they say. What do you think? la la Lily : )

Just me and my mom

My momma was home from work for three days last week and we spent alot of time together.
No, we didn't play the whole time. Unfortunately, when you move into a brand new house, there's a bunch of work to do for mommys. My momma had to wash loads of clothes, including all her blankets and stuff, so they would be nice and fresh in there new places.

Here's my new house.  We have the furniture set up and window blinds in all the windows, but everyone knows there's more to a house than that. Somebody has to put stuff in cabinets and drawers. And try to get everything else organized. Well, that was my momma's mission this week. It's kinda hard to do with me around. I like to mess up faster than she can clean up.

Maw Maw T says I'm a little devil.

She came over on Thursday to help my momma straighten up and hang curtains. They got lots of stuff done, even with me running around messing up.

We finally got my bed put together  in my room and  no, I don't have a  picture of it, but here's me finishing up on the painting after I got it cleaned and sanded.

Well, now it's the weekend and everything that my momma wanted to do,  isn't done. Not one picture, or wall hanging on the walls. I feel sorry for her. She has worked so hard and needs a break. Most people take time off from work and enjoy themselves, but some have to spend it doing stuff that "if it's gonna get done they have to do it."  I wish she could have relaxed and rested. Maybe take a bubble bath, or just lay around and watch a movie with me, or something. I just want everyone to know how much I LOVE MY MOMMA- she's the best!! la la Lily

Ouch! That hurt!

Okay, Friday was a bad day.  It was past time for me to get my shots, so I HAD to go to the doctor! The nurse lady, Robin, weighed me and said I weigh 24 and 1/2 pounds. That's in the 50% range, which is good. Then, I had to stand up beside a ruler to see how tall I am.  It said that I am 32 inches tall. That's just a little below average, which is good, too. Have you seen my mom and dad? They're not the tallest people in the world; not to mention all of my other relatives out there. (Except my Uncle Mike, he's up there)

Anyway, I'm growing up. Yep, it's true. The only bad thing was that I had to get THREE SHOTS ! Just like the last time. What is it with this Dr. Bob man who likes to go around poking sweet little girls with needles?

He always pokes them in the top of my behind. Right on the rump! And it hurts like crazy.

I cried so hard when we got home that MawMaw T gave me some ice cream to take my mind off of my worries.

By Sunday my boo boos got real sore and the spots are dark pink. I've been cranky all weekend.

Please say a little prayer that my boo boos get better real soon.

Mornings come earlier now

       Ever since Monday morning, and the time changed, I've been waking up earlier. Either I stay awake when momma and daddy leave me at 6am, or I wake up at 7:30am just in time to take
 Aunt KK to big girl school. Quite different from the 9:30 and 10am stuff I was used to just last week.
       Well, anyway, I have a morning routine that I can share with you guys.

  This is me not long after I wake up. The "hair fairy" visits me every night!

First things first - It's potty time!

Then, I have to brush my tee-fees . . .

After that, I get to wash my face with MawMaw's stuff . . .

 Sometimes I get to play with MawMaw's makeup. . .

Then, I try to brush my hair to make it shiney and soft . . .

Of course, what girl doesn't like lotion to put on?

This cooler weather can make your skin dry and ashy - yuk!

And that brings us back to here.

Just getting ready to start my day.
